Is strategy workspace linked?

In NT 7, I opened a work place to view charts and also enabled strategies. When i tried to close teh work place, NT 7 gave warning that strategy will also be disabled.


Is the strategy linked to the workplace opened in NT7.

Yes, strategies applied to chart are included in the workspace, but will always start out disabled.

The problem is that the strategies are not applied to any charts in the work place. For example, the work place charts are for futures and the strategies are for stocks. I don't think it is convenient to tied them together if they are not related at all.

Hello binwang,

Strategies should only be linked with a workspace if you have the strategy applied to a chart.

Did you close the workspace (File > Workspace > Close) to receive the message or close the platform?

It may be possible that your futures workspace includes some stock charts. Please test this with a simple layout to confirm behavior.
