Can rarely connect to NT: Login Failed : 10001

I can't log on to NT about 95% of the time...takes me hours! most of the time. I live in a slow internet area. I get LOGIN FAILED: 10001 errors all the time.

The most common reason is that a firewall, antivirus or other protection software on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing NinjaTrader from establishing a connection.


Please disable any firewalls, also anti-virus or other protection software you may have running and close all other applications you may have running on your PC at this time.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

Makes no difference....i got a 20051 error code this time after it said: Can not connect. When i disabled the antiV adn Firewall.....It must be just my slow connection speed because it works fine when I am on broadband with my normal settings. takes me just so long and too many times to connect to either 6.5 and 7.....7 seems to connect little better.

Can you please close NinjaTrader and sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated and you may restart NinjaTrader.

Please let me know if this resolves the 20051 error code you are receiving.

You mean internet time syncronizaion with the server Time.Windows.com....i'm using Vista?
