I have a strategy written in 6.5 and have converted to NT7. It runs fine in NT7.
Thought i would try to run it through the strategy analyzer to see historical performance etc etc....
On the backtest tab I am unable to get the parameters to show up similar to the sample strategies (when i select my strategy from the drop down selection window). I have read some of the posts in our forum and thought i should reduce the number of parameters but this did not help. Eventually i checked the log and it says:
Failed to call method 'initialize' for the strategy 'xxxxx': Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I have tried to see if i could find a similiar error in the forum but cannot.
My strategy calls an indicator.... must I do some special with it?
Not certain what i need to do.... any direction will be greatly appreciated.
