General programming guidelines

Hello,

I am looking for general NinjaScript programming guidelines for the Market Analyzer (as I assume that they are different from indicators applied to charts). Where can I find those?

David, the concepts are mostly the same but I'm not sure if there is a reference for Market Analyzer specific programming. I will have someone get back to you on Monday with an answer, but in the meantime, please take a look at the Market Analyzer scripts already present in NinjaTrader in the My Documents/NinjaTrader 6.5 (or 7)/bin/custom/MarketAnalyzer to get a feel for how they work.

David, Austin's reply would be the best approach to take, officially we don't support the creation of custom Market Analyzer columns.

Regular NinjaScript indicators can be simply applied to the MA in the indicators colums, just ensure the sessions fit for the MA as you would have them setup for the charts.
