Continuous contract not shown in my list of instruments

I created an “ES ##-##” instrument covering x no of years of data using NT6.5 and the chart is plotted fine but when I attempt to create a second chart using the same instrument, I can’t find my ES ##-## instrument in my list of instruments.
Does this behavious imply that I have to create the same ES ##-## for each chart separately?

Thanks for the prompt response Kyle and apologies for late response.
I’ve upgraded to NT7 but now I’m totally lost! I just wish your user guide had some examples.
Please talk me through setting up an equivalent to “ES #F”.
My contract with eSignal will come to an end tomorrow but can’t start a new one with Kinetic until the 1st Nov due to their billing procedure!
So I’m hoping to setup my new continuous ES instrument today.

Please follow the steps listed at the following link to add ES to your default instrument list: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rom_a_list.htm

When you get to step 3 in the instructions, please select '##-##' as the expiry.
