    Zen Fire Connection

    Hi,

    Just opened Mirus Demo. I am using Ninja Trader 6.5 with a zen fire feed. I'm having a problem that the feed is not working "live".

    I have gone to instrument manager and added YM December 10 expiry. Have adjusted this in the new chart window and also adjusted in in the Static Dom (also not working)

    If I close Ninja trader and reopen it then it will give me up to the minute price but it is NOT running the charts live.

    I restate it is not running the bot, nor the charts live.

    Hello ceydababy,

    Thank you for your post.

    First please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you currently have installed by going to Help-->About. If you do not have NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.18 installed please upgrade at the link I have provided below.



    Next please reset your instruments with the steps provided below:
    • Disconnect
    • Tools
    • Options
    • Misc tab
    • Reset Instruments
    • Tools
    • Instrument Manager
    • Remove YM 12-10 from your Default list and add it back in
    • Reconnect

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

          Likely the instrument you have selected in the chart stopped trading today or is not very volatile due to Thanksgiving.

              Dear all,
              I have account with Mirus futures and Zen-Fire data feed,
              NT 6.5.1000.18(live)
              when I try to connect my account, I get massage:
              "Login failed: Unable to login (10001)"
              or "Login failed: Unable to login (10004)"
              Look forward to your comments.

                Secure the right domain name for your business or website today. Custom tailored payment plans available to fit any budget.


                Login Failed: Unable to login (10001): The login process is unable to get to the Zen-Fire servers. Disable or configure firewalls and security software as needed until a connection can be made. This is an error that requries the application to be restarted. Failure to restart the application will immediatlely generate the same error but with (10004) as the reason.

                  I just lost my connection as well. When I try to login, I get the error message:

                  Login failed. Unable to login (10004).

                  My guess is that this is a Zen Server problem.

                  What would be nice is a splash screen message or mass e mail alerting subscribers to the problem.

                    I am able to connect to Zen-Fire successful on my end.

                    The 10004 error message indicates NinjaTrader cannot reach the Zen-Fire servers. Please check for security software that could be blocking the connection.

                    Please try a reboot of your computer as well and check if you can get connected.

                        When you say the "issue is detected locally", are you inferring that there is a problem in certain geographical areas ( I am in the NYC area ), or that the problem is 'localized', as in my PC or ISP?

                          I mean per individual user.

                          The normal cure is rebooting, otherwise your firewalls need to be checked.
