REVERSEPOSITION COMMAND (QTY field)

Hi,

I'm using: REVERSEPOSITION COMMAND VIA the DLL interface.

"This command will reverse the current position and place an order in the opposite direction. The field requirements are identical to the PLACE commmand."

What I need to know is:

If I'm long 2 contracts and my TradeStation strategy wishes to reverse, does the field "QTY" in the REVERSEPOSITION COMMAND need to have a 2 in it or a 4 (so I will be short 2 after the reverse) ???

You need to have 2 in it. This will close the current position and open a new position in the reverse direction for 2.
