Do the entry/exit markers on a chart take into account the spread?

For instance if the chart markers show I made 10 pips, does that mean I made 10 pips after the spread?

Thank you for your post.

When trading live (using a live brokerage), the execution markers display where the broker stated your execution took place, therefore, it should represent the spread that you paid.

When trading into a simulated account, the executions will take place at the last traded price, and therefore may not represent the spread you may realize when trading into a live broker account. You can set commissions if you wish to simulate extra fees to take into account spread costs.

I'm doing live trading. Just to be clear ( I know I sound like a retard hah), when trading live, if the entry/exit markers on the chart show I made 10 pips, that means I made 10 pips after the spread?

Yes, I beleive that is correct; however, please consult your broker to verify as we do not have access to any brokerage or PnL information to make sure.
