    Trouble Installing V 7

    When I tried to download and install version 7, the error message said I needed the dot net 3.5 frame work, and offered a link to download it. However, that link is broken. When I went to Microsoft's site to get the download, version 3.5 has been replaced with version 4.0, which I downloaded and installed.

    Then I went back and tried to install Ninja 7, and I get the same error message, so I am unable to run load version 7.

    I'm running XP with service pack 3. Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your post, and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum.

    Can you please uninstall .NET 4.0 from the Windows Control Panel. Then please install .NET 3.5 from the link below.


    Additionally, you will want to make sure that you have SQL server CE installed.

        I had similar problem. Except that i had .net 3.5 ... but the installer would still complain me to have 3.5! .... I now installed .net 4 and the problem persists.

        Can you suggest any way i can download the full binaries from someplace?

          Hi stumper,

          Please uninstall .NET 4.0, then uninstall .NET 3.5. After uninstalling, please reinstall in the reverse order. After doing so, please try to load NinjaTrader and let me know if you continue to encounter issues.
