NT switching windows problem

Whenever I have multiple windows open NT cant handle them properly.... I click on a window and want to change for example the timeframe... as I click on the timeframe in the upper left corner another window I have already open is popping up... this is making me crazy.... anyone ever experienced such a thing?

Are these two windows resting on top of one another?

Are you saying that the window you click on automatically moves to the foreground when it is clicked?

no they are not on top of the other... i have for example YM, ES and NQ open and each window is maximized to the full screen... when i want to switch through them it is working... but sometimes when i click into the timeframe symbol from YM, the window from ES comes to the front...

the charts are not linked and i have another external monitor connected to my notebook..

Can you offer any additional clarification as to what is occurring?
