Failed to initialize NTDirect.dll

I had been using NTDirect to route data feed and run orders to the NT platform without difficulty while running TradeStation 8.7 on windows XP. I have now upgrade the computer to Win 7 and TradeStation to v8.8. Now when I attempt to start the strategy that only sends the data feed to a remote computer I get this message: "Failed to initialize Ninja Trade DLL NtDirect.dll (0x80040154)". This has also lead to several crashes of the TradeStation platform.

The same error has been reported at the forum thread below.

I suggest to proceed the same way - uninstall NinjaTrader, delete all occurrences of NTDirect.dll on your machine and subsequently re-install NinjaTrader.

Thanks for your response. As it happens, the problem went away when I installed NT on the same computer that was running Tradestation. I was planning on running the NT on a remote computer, so I didn't think I needed NT of the same machine, but when I did the problem went away.
