Properties in optimizer vs on chart....

Is there a limit as to how many properties you can pass into the stategy optimizer? I have a strategy that will not show some of my properties when I am in the optimizer. When I put the same strategy on a chart the properties are visable and changable.

There shouldn't be a limit on the amount here. There may be an issue with the type of inputs you are trying to optimize - they need to all be numeric. What type of inputs are you having issues optimizing?

Everything is numeric. I have some money management parameters I have always had (numeric) that show up fine along with other parameters. I'm in the process of adding some conditional checks for entry that reference numeric values as well. These will not show up.

When I put the strategy on a Chart, everything shows up (both old parameters and new). When I open the same strategy in the optimizer and select an insntrument, none of my changes show up (ie none of the new parameters). It's as if nothing I do makes a difference to the strategy.

I suggest making sure everything is setup properly. If you can share an example code snippet or a file we can take a look.

Have you tried saving strategy as a new name? On a rare occasion I have had to restart NT, I have a feeling it has something to do with .NET cleanup.
