Keeping Indicator Colors

Every time i turn a strategy on and off, i have to reset all of the colors and sizes of the lines of the indicators i use (ie...macD, Volume Oscillator, CCI, etc..)

is there a way i can save the settings of the indicators so i do not have to do this each time? i tried templates, but that does not save indicator colors..

You can save a chart template to save the indicators and their settings you have applied in the chart. Please see the link below for instructions.

If you refer to parameter settings of the strategy itself, NinjaTrader 6.5 unfortunately does not allow you to save strategy parameter settings. You will need to re-configure your settings each time you start a strategy.

NinjaTrader 7 has been improved in this regard. If you right click in the parameter grid, you can enable 'Set Default For *strategy name*' to save the settings.
