Intraday file update list?

I want to ensure quotes are being collected for about 20 symbols all the time - sunday night to friday night. Do I need to keep charts open for all of them? Or is it possible to specify a list of symbols which would get data collected for them (tick & minute) at all times? Sorry if it's obvious but couldn't find any such settings. Using NT beta 7, with IB

Hello trueninja,

If you like to collect real-time data, you would need to have NinjaTrader running the entire time. Make sure 'Save chart data as historical' is enabled at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab.

Unfortunately it is not possible to specify a list to collect data.

Please note that IB supports historical minute data, but no historical tick data.

Correct, it will save the real-time data you receive in your charts that are opened.
