Move ohlc bars closer together?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I've looked through the properties and settings and I cant find and answer.

I want to move the ohlc bars closer together on my chart. I don't like the gap between the bars displayed on my screen. Is there any way to move the bars closer together?

You can (de)compress the X-axis by click and hold the left mouse button below the X-axis and move left or right.

Bar spacing can be adjusted by holding the Ctrl key and the up and down arrows.

Hi Jason

NEW NT7 user here, impressed so far. Re: decompressing / compressing x axis I am doing as per the instruction although I am using the left click and not right mouse click).

I find that it wont compress all the data but only last 2 days or so when using 1min chart (with 10day backfill). I would like to be able to view all of the x axis data that i have specified on the data series "days to load" and not last 2 dasy or so.

Hello gktk303,

Yes, you will need to use the left mouse button.

Unfortunately you can compress data up to a certain point only. Likely, you hit that point when you compressed the chart. I am able to see 1,5 day of historical data in a 1 minute chart on my end.

If you cannot compress the X-axis anymore, it indicates you reached that point.
