Market replay

Hi,

As I understand it, in order to collect data via the market replay recorder, it is necessary to either have a DOM open with the symbol I want to record, or place that symbol into Market Analyser. With the recorder on and say 8 -10 symbols in Market Analyser there is a lot of data being recorded especially if I may only be interested in data for say 2 of those 10 symbols.

Is there any other more efficient way to record only the symbols that I am interested in?

If not has any thought be given to introducing a 'Symbols to record' function within the recorder (or attached to it).

If it is space you want to conserve you can go into \My Documents\NinjaTrader 6\db\data\20070726 and delete the .ntm file of the symbols you aren't interested in. Other than that, I don't know of any method more efficient than how it currently is.

Thankyou for the suggestion which will suffice for now.

It would be preferable of course to record data for only those symbols I was interested in.
