TWS & NT7 setup on Win7 x64

Hello,

I am setting up my trading combo on a Win7 x64 pc for auto strategies trading. Is TWS 906 and NT7.0.0.21 the right ones?

I also have problem in installation of TWS, as I've installed JAVA 64bits, but TWS found there is no java installed. I've heard that both 32bits & 64bits Java need to be installed before installation of TWS. Anyone can provide more clues...Many thanks.

Or TWS906, Java 32bits, and NT6.5 the best option at the moment?

pipal, those version #'s are good and should work for NT7 and IB on a 64 bit machine.

Yes, you would want to have both Java 32 and 64 bit installed.

you don't have to install both 32 bit and 64 bit java, but it is recommended. If you just install the 32bit (default on java.com), then when you run tws the first time, you have to point to the java 32 bit directory manually. it is local at program file (86)\ java\.....
