    Order exceeds account equity on Simulator?

    Hi Technical Support Team,

    I am trading on Simulator using the Ninja Trader 7 with an Interactive Brokers feed.

    I had been trading 3 Euro Futures contracts with no problems.

    Now I am trying to trade the EURUSD spot forex using 1.8 standard lots. A message saying 'IB Connection, Order has exceeded available account equity: Please reduce order size affected Order: Buy 180000 Market' is constantly popping up not letting me execute any orders with this size.

    Can you please give me some advice on this issue?

    Hello Claude,

    I suggest to reset the sim101 account, so it will have enough funds to submit the order in question. You can reset the sim101 account at Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Simulator-tab. More information can be found at the link below.
