How did you setup the instrument giving you issues?

You can restore the instrument setup to default state via Tools > Options > Data > Reset Instruments

Well I used the same symbol as CL because it wsnt eaccepting the new symbol I tried which you suggested CLCustom....

What will this reset do?

Will it delete all of my folders of instruments? I dont want to screw up my instrument list setup as Ive spent a lot of time on this.

I just tried on my end and could setup a custom CL symbol (USD currency, exchange Nymex, map identical as the copied from one, tick 0.01, PointValue 1000). Please pass a screenshot how you tried it then so I can take a look.

The reset of the instruments will produce the default shipped state back, this will not affect grouping on custom instrument lists nor will it affect custom added instruments.
