Live Strategy, modify and compile strat/indicator code

If I modify the code of either a strategy or indicator, would that make the live strategy unstable, crash, update or do nothing until i disable and re-enable it?

Oil_Trader, you shouldn't notice an effect until you reload the indicator or reenable the strategy running.

Every time you compile something in NT(7) it ratchet ups the amount of memory in use by the NT process. If you do a lot of it and have limited resources you can hit the out of memory exception brick wall.

Restarting NT after a bunch of edit/compile cycles is on my Best Practices list.
