Problem to load some stocks(brazilian market)

Hello, I' m a complete newbie in Ninjatrade. I was using the 6.5 version. To know the new version I install the 7.20 beta( I like it so much) and some problems came along. There is a lot of stock that cant see now and saw in NT 6.5. I following this steps file>new>charts and a type my stocks and nothing happens.

What Can I do to fix it?

    Hello rgmmelo,

    Thank you for your post.

In order to view stocks or instruments that do not come pre-loaded in NinjaTrader, you will have to either manually add them to the instrument manager or you can use the "on-the-fly" method for adding stocks/equities.

First, create a chart that you know works (AAPL, for example)

Once the chart has loaded, left click on the chart to activate it and then simply start typing and change instrument box should appear. Hit enter and it should automatically fill in the details for the stock.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

OK. It's little bit different from V 6.5 but I did it. In the V 6.5 was not necessary to always use the instrument manager.
Thank's for solving my little problem.

I' ve another question about Brazilian stocks using yahoo and NT. There is stock that a request it I receive this erro" Failed to retrive data from yahoo", I a use the same symbols that i use in yahoo finance . I search in this forum and I did not find any solution.

Can you answer that question to? Or is problem from yahoo vendor?

        Hello rgmmelo,

If you a receiving that error message on a specific symbol, it is likely that is not supported by Yahoo's API. There is nothing we can do to resolve that on our end.

You would need to subscribe to that symbol from one of our supported Historical Data providers.

Please see our Help Guide article on Historical Data

Let me know if you need anything else.
