Using a Zen Data Demo

Hi,

Just started using NT. Am set up with a free months Demo from ZenFire.

Working good, have to say. Just have a couple of questions...

1) How much will the Zen Data connection be after the month trial ?

2) Any better options than Zen, for Data alone ?

Hello Scottie Dog,

1) You will have to discuss with your broker any costs related to the feed. Typically the data is provided free with a qualified broker account.

2) You wll typically receive more historical data when using a data only provider such as Kinetick, eSignal, and DTN / IQ than a brokerage service. We have many capable partners so are unable to offer recommendation on any specific ones. Perhaps some community members can offer input in this area.

I dont want a Broker. I just want real time data through the NT platform.

Not even sure how to get data only from zen. theres no contactus section on their website ?

Anyone using NT with a DataFeed only, and no broker ?

Hi ScottieDog,

As far as I know, Zen-Fire does not offer any data only connections. Zen-Fire is offered only as part of a brokerage account.

There are, however, several data only providers. The following providers offer this service:

• BarChart
• eSignal
• DTN.IQ
• Kinetick (NinjaTrader 7 only)
