    intraday data chart problem

    Hello,
    After power cut down I restarted my ninja trader (6.5.16) and i couldn't display my intraday charts. Following errors occur every time i tried to lounch my NT: Error on loading chart data..... Data provider can't define the value for the "object" column.
    Higher time frames can be displayed without any problem.
    Can anybody help me?

    Thank you for your post.

    In most cases, this type of error message would indicate a corruption in the NinjaTrader database.

    Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
    • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    • Select the "Misc" tab
    • Press the "Repair DB" button
    • Press the "OK" button

      Hello Kyle,
      I followed your instruction. After that I have got an error: "Failed to compact database. Old data base is preserved at ...... You need to restore it manually".
      What should I do?

        Hi Mike,

        Since repairing the database did not do the trick, our next step will be to create a new database.

        Please rename your database by following the steps listed below. Doing so will cause NinjaTrader to create a new database on start up. Because of this, historical chart data will need to be reloaded. Likewise, ATM strategy templates, custom instruments and instrument lists will need to be recreated.


        To rename the DB:
        • Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
        • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
        • Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
        • Name it "NewNinjaTrader.MDB."
        • Then restart the software.
