Using Correct Symbol Mapping

Hey, for some reason, have no information on finding the appropriate mapping. Take for example, Kospi 200 Futures using IB datafeed, what's the approriate mapping? I've tried K200, [email protected] others. However data doesn't load. What am I missing?

Thank you for your first forum post.

For the symbol mapping for IB you will use the symbol name in IB(What you type in to get the symbol in IB). This will need to place in the Instrument manager->Edit the symbol->Misc Tab->Interactive Brokers Symbol map.

Then on the 1st tab Definitions tab the correct exchange needs to be checked. If you do not know the exchange for the instrument you can right click on the symbol in TWS and goto Symbol or Contract details to get the exchange it is listed on.

Once these 2 settings are set you will recieve data from IB.
