Chart discrepancy

Hello. I have two instances of NT 7 running on both server and my home pc. Both are running on the same data source - TD Ameritrade. I see one candle which is different in two programs. Please refer to the image attached - left chart is on server NT , left - on my home pc. Instrument - stock BEBE.

Thank you for your post.

If you right click on the chart and then select Reload Historical Data do the charts match, and if they do not can you please close NinjaTrader and sync your PC clock. You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

With TDA tick data is stamped locally when they are received by NinjaTrader and depending on the PC clock certain ticks may show in different bars. Please see the following link for more information.

Reloading historical data rectified this issue. But I`m confused now. How can I continue using NT if it has such a critical problems. What was the reason?

Hi vitaleg,

The issue is related to how the data is provided from TDA in real-time, versus historical data. If you sync the PC clock you can make sure that the data is provided the same in real-time.

However, if you review the link from my previous reply you will see that this is to be expected to some extent based on the specifications of the provider.
