create custom event

Hi I'm new to NT, I need to comunicate two strategies. Is it possible create a custom event and trigger this event within one strategy and execute the event handler in both strategies?

This is theoretically possible, however this is not supported by NinjaTrader.

ok. Is there any way to comunicate two strategies? I want to stop opening positions or giving alerts when any of the two strategies open a position. I was trying to create a custom event and activate this event in any of the strategies so all strategies will know the new state

Cross communication, This is what I was referring to as being Unfortunately not officially supported however I have heard of individuals being able to do this.

This would be the general concept you would use to do this. This reference sample referes to an Strategy->Indicators however same concept would apply to Strategy->Strategy.
