    Verifying Licence Issue

    Hello,

    I am having problems with NT 6.5 since updating my Webroot Antivirus Software. I cannot be 100% sure that it is Webroot causing the problem but it could be. I have tried turning off the Webroot Software but I am not sure that it is really switched off as there was a message saying that it will still monitor my machine in the background. I have closed out and stopped the program from the taskbar.

    The NT 6.5 issue is that it cannot verify my licence and tells me to try again later. This is a repeatable condition which makes me think that it is the Webroot stopping server access. Before switching off Webroot I reconfigured it into a "Learning Mode" so that it would provide me with the opportunity to allow access for software that was attempting access.

    I have a Webroot support ticket open on this but if anybody can make suggestions in the meantime I would appreciate your advice.

    Thank you for your post.

    Unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with Webroot to be able to provide much clarification on the settings it's using.

    If they can show you how to create an exception for NinjaTrader, the license should verify from the sounds of it.

    This information will be needed as you work with Webroot:

    NT licenses, vendor license files and a server based configuration file are downloaded from per HTTP and HTTPS from:
    * www.ninjatrader.com
    • IP - 74.200.197.238
    • Ports - 80 & 443

    * www.ninjatrader-support2.com
    • IP - 64.38.21.160
    • Ports - 80 & 443


    - The connection to the NT data server is going to any of these servers:
    • DS1 - 64.202.118.132
    • DS2 - 64.202.118.144
    • DS3 - 64.202.118.179
    • DS4 - 64.202.118.180

    port = 31654
    Note: these IPs might change as we build up our server infrastructure

      Thank for you prompt response to my post.

      I cannot locate where I can "Whitelist" your ip addresses within the software but will forward the details onto Webroot support to see if they can assist.
