Can't place stop

I have reverted back to the free version of NT. I am unable to place a stop once I'm in a trade. If I remember correctly, I would click on the price at which I wanted the stop to reside. I'm getting a message that I must use the automated trading in order to set my stop, but automated trading is unavailable to me, therefore I have no way of placing the stop, unless I"m simply doing it wrong.

I'm clicking on the middle price, not the buy or sell column.

Hello Shali27,

You will have to click in either the buy or sell column. For placing stop orders: Hold down the control button and then click with your middle mouse button. (Mouse scroll wheel).

You can submit various orders with the SuperDOM using either your left or middle (scroll wheel) mouse button.

Ok. It's been a while so I forgot. With the free version, if I'm holding 5 long contracts, and I wish to sell two, I'm assuming that would automatically reduce my position to 3. I know this sounds like a stupid question but I don't want to end up with 5 long contracts and 2 short.

Yes, that's correct. Your net position will be 3 long.
