I just started looking at forex stuff and was wondering if the Dollar per tick or i guess pip can be changed ?

Can you elaborate on what you're looking to accomplish?
I'm not sure if you're asking about changing lot sizes or changing the way NinjaTrader converts the pip values to currency values.

With GAIN, lot size is set at an account level. As such, you would need to contact GAIN to have your account set to use mini or micro lots.

If you're using the free demo GAIN connection, only standard lots will be available.

ok its for demo now, another question i have is im used to trading ES, when the market trades to my limit order im filled if it trades though my price, i was playing around with i tyesterday and it traded through my price without ever filling me. so i screwed around with market orders and i was -4 ticks on my entry and like -6 on my stop loss. Is this the way the real forex stuff trades im not crazy about the sperads?

Hello ckait,

In my experience, this would be fairly typical. Different data providers do tend to show different spreads, however. As such, it may be worth while for you to contact a few other providers to see what type of spread they typically offer.
