Italian MIBTEL Futures

Hallo,

Anyone trading the MIB futures on the Italian market?
I have access to real-time data in my TWS (symbol FTMBI) but cannot see real-time data in Ninja (symbol for interactive MIB30) I have edited the instrument, but I still see no real-time data.

Can anyone give me the exact string to trade MIB futures with Ninja?

Hi,

What version are you using? V6.5.1000.16 or V7 Beta 20? You can check under Help--> About.

Is there an error message in the log tab of the control center?

What happens if you reset your instruments under Tools--> Options--> Misc tab--> Reset Instruments (V6.5, for V7 go to Data tab--> Reset Instruments)?

I have Ninja 6.5.1000.15.

I think I edited some instruments in the past so I prefer not to reset all the instruments.

I was wanted to check if anyone is trading this market, so I could use the same settings.

error MIB30 03-13 not supported

I get error message "error MIB30 03-13 not supported" on loading chart with italian MIBTEL future.
NinjaTrader version is 7.0.1000.11
and connected to Zen-Fire

How do I setup for MIBTEL ?

Hello Klaus,

Unfortunately the error is as expected. The MIB30 future is not supported on the historical data server, so you will not be able to load any historical data.

I do not receive real-time data either when I test Zen-Fire. Are you sure this future instrument is included as per your Zen-Fire connection? Did your broker inform this instrument is included?

There is no symbol map defined by default for the MIB30 as per Zen-Fire. I tried MIB30, but this did not result in real-time data.

Yes, it works with IB. Please proceed as follows. Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager. Highlight the MIB30 and click Edit. Select the Misc-tab and remove MIB30 in the Interactive Brokers row. Enter FTMIB instead. Click OK.

Remove and re-add the MIB30 03-13 to your instrument list. Instructions can be found at the link below.
