RTH daily bar chart

Hi,
I trade ES only during regular trading hours. How can I modify my daily bar chart in that way that it consists only regular trading hours data?

Hello Mike,

Unfortunately within NinjaTrader 6.5 when creating a Daily chart you will not have access to the Session begins and ends times property.

You may however create a 1440 Minute chart to simulate Daily bars then set the Session begins and ends times. To set your Session begins and ends times please use the steps I have provided below.

• Right mouse click within your chart
• Properties
• Set your Session begins and ends time
• Click Ok

Keep in mind the Session begins and ends time are based off your local PC clock. I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Chart Properties.

Within NinjaTrader 7 you may set a Session template for Daily charts by right mouse clicking within your chart-->Data Series-->Sesstion template. You may also create custom Session templates by going to Tools-->Session Manager-->New.

You may download NinjaTrader 7 on the same PC as 6.5. NinjaTrader 7 will be a seperate installation and will not erase or affect NinjaTrader 6.5 at all however keep in mind you may only have on instance of NinjaTrader running at a time.
