Is NT okay for stocks?

Hello.

I`ve been looking through forums and did not see any mention about using NT to trade stocks. Is this software fit stocks trading?

P.S. We are going to use Interactive Brokers.

Will appreciate any response \ advice.

Yes, we support stock trading as well. This is supported with Interactive Brokers too.

TradeStation is a supported data feed only - they are not a supported broker partner. TradeStation is a proprietary brokerage and software platform which means you can only use TradeStation software for orders executed through the TradeStation brokerage.

Thank you. I cannot find appropriate section for my next question. So I apologise if this will cause rules breaking.

Could you please explain the difference between paid and free Ninja Trader versions? As far as I understand I can trade only using paid version, while free version is just for analysis.

No worries. You can trade using the free version as well, however you can only trade in simulation (NinjaTrader sim101 account).

If you decide to trade your live account with a supported broker partner, you will need to purchase a subscription from us.

So both versions are the same - only the paid version will allow you to submit live orders.
