What would be the best trading computer to run Ninja Trader 6.5 or 7 with ZenFire?
My computer is not keeping up with the news releases...

Do I get it from Dell or HP or go with one of these -

So long as you have a PC that meets the minimum PC requirements then NinjaTrader should not experience any issues.

However, anything above and beyond those minimum requirements should enhance your usage of NinjaTrader. However, you choose to meet those requirements, whether with a custom PC or with a stock PC does not matter as it is the components therein that will make NinjaTrader run smoothly.

Hi RyanOlson,

I do have a better than minimum config now - Win XP, 1GB RAM, lot of disk space and run only 1 tick chart and DOM. It is 6.5 with ZenFire. Lately the chart pauses and releases after a few minutes, and eventually freezes after nunning for some time...
The system has no other apps running, not even AV.

Any suggestions to troubleshoot would be appreciated.

Hi joe11,

One thing you can do is reduce the number of days that you are loading in the tick chart, as well making sure that any indicators that are applied have the Calculate on Bar Close parameter set to True.
