I have two computers running NinjaTrader - one for live trading and one for testing. On the computer used for testing, whenever I backtest an automated strategy, the most recent 24 hours of data are missing from the chart in the Strategy Analyzer window. They are not missing if I create a separate chart of the same instrument. For example now, at 12:10am EST on 11/8/10, the last bar in the Strategy Analyzer window, having just run a backtest, is 12am on 10/8/10. However, on my live trading computer, the last bar is 12am on 11/8/10 as expected. What could cause this please?
Don't worry, I have just realised that the End Date setting was set to 9/8/10, instead of today. But that is what it defaulted to. Why does it not default to today?
