look back period

is there anyway to fix the number of days look back period on tick charts? I am trying to increase the number of days I can go back using tick charts but all I can get is 2, i did play around with the settings, but no luck. I can see the days back in "minute" charts but no such luck with tick charts...

how do i fix this or is there a fix for this?

Thank you for your post.

You should be able to configure this ‘default’ setting in NinjaTrader 6.5 by going to Tools > Instrument Manager > and then navigating to the “Data” tab.

Select the number of days you want the chart to default to when using tick-based data (See screenshot).

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

Hi suchen,

Can you clarify for me if you're saying that you see only two days of historical tick data, no matter what 'days back' setting you use in the Data Series menu?

If this is the case, please let me know which data provider you're using with NinjaTrader 7.

yes, this is correct. I have no issues with NT 6.5 but with NT 7 and I am using Zenfire

Hello suchen, You will want to check the following:

1. When setting up your Zen-Fire connection, did you select “Historical Data” = enabled?

2. Is the data series in the chart in question formatted such that you have sufficient historical range?

3. Also let me know if this happens with more than one futures instrument symbol (please give examples)
