ARE TRENDLINES LIVE in 6.5 or 7??

Hello,

I am considering using NT and would like to know if, natively or through an indicator either 6.5 or 7.0 has active sloping trendlines that issue alarms or place trades when touched/closed through by price?

This is such a useful feature I need.

Thank you for your post.

The Automatic Trend Line Detection indicator for NinjaTrader 6.5 can be downloaded from our Support Forum which I have provided the link to below. Once on the forum you will scroll down to Indicators and it will be on page 1 of the indicators page.

To import the downloaded indicator into NinjaTrader please use the steps I have provided below.

• Just double click on the NinjaScript Archive file (.zip) and it will automatically start the import process

or

• From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript to open the Import NinjaScript dialog window
• Select the file you want to import
• Press the "Open" button

Thanks!... Another small question.. I would like to use NT without any daily data maintenance whatsoever with all historic futures data (years) present every morning. Is a subscription to Barchart Data a good solution?

Yes if you would like to receive historical data within your chart you would be required to connect to a data provider that offers this data such as Barchart, eSignal, etc.
