Can I transfer manually adjusted splits to new desktop?

    Hello,

I bought a new computer and downloaded a fresh NT V6.5. I am not trading live, gaining confidence backtesting for now using Yahoo!! connection. I have spent a considerable amount of time manually adjusting for stock splits that the Yahoo! data connection doesn't adjust. I have adjusted all stocks in the S&P and would not like to have to redo this. Is there any way I can transfer a file from my old computer to my new one so that all the splits and instrument lists are synchronized?

    Thanks.

    Hello Scotty.Trump,

    Thank you for your post.

This information is stored within your database which can be transferred to another PC. If you want to transfer everything to another PC, the best way is to create a backup file and transfer this to restore on the other PC:

    Backup:

    Restore:

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Thanks for your help ChristopherJ. I have successfully switched everything over to V7 as I noticed Kenetic is available free for EOD data. It looks like a good option once I begin trading live. Thanks again.
