Does NT auto reconnect if my computer goes offline?

Hello,

I want to use NT DLL + TradeStation + MF GLobal broker to do fully automated LIVE trading.

Wanted to ask if my computer internet connection goes offline for 5 seconds or even 6 minutes while I am asleep (computer unattended) will NT "automatically" re-connect to my brokers NT server when my internet connection comes back online again? Or would I have to "manually" re-connect NT to broker's server again which would mean I have to personally attend to my computer at night and re-type in my login details ?

Hi Rocket130713,

Patsystems requires a server reset periodically. For that you will need to manually reconnect and manage. If you have internet connection losses, these connections should be recovered ok.

Thanks Tim. when you say PatSystems requires a "re-set" periodically, how often is "periodically", is that once per trading session (24 hours) or is it normally more than once per session (assuming 1 session like for crude oil and not 2 sessions like for corn per 24 hour period) ?
