Historical Data Manager - Export question

If I've opened a Chart using monthly bars, shouldn't I be able to export a text file of monthly bars?

I don't see how to do this.

Thank you for your forum post.

Montly bars are built in NinjaTrader by Daily data. You would need to export the daily data.

There are only 3 types of data. Tick Data, Minute Data, and Daily Data.

Thanks for the reply Brett, although its not what I hoped for.

It would be an improvement if you could export in the same timeframes that you can chart to. Other products let you do this.

If this is something that you need to can add this with custom coding to export any date to a file this incluldes weekly data if you need to export this data you can do this with the following lines if needed.

Looked at the cs file. I'm not sure what it is doing. It could use more comments. I was looking for a built-in feature, not a 220+ line program to write/modify. But your intent in making the suggestion is appreciated. Just looking for a simple solution ...
