Days back and market replay on 7.0

Ninja 7.0.

If I have a chart set for 5 days back but am using market replay and selected a date 5 days back. How much history will it load prior for that day 5 days back?

I am back testing a strategy that uses multiple time frames to look back and compute Fibonacci clusters but doesn't seem to work right until it get close to the current day. It works fine in real-time and had for months.

A chart with 5 days back will load 5 days back from the End date on the chart. When you use a replay file that is 5 days old, it will load 5 days from that date so that would be 10 days from today relatively speaking.

Ok, so if I am replaying a whole week or 5 entire days back. I assume the "current day" is the last day I am replaying and not the oldest day. Correct?

Meaning if I am playing a whole week for the date range I will 5 days back from the newest date.

No, if you are replaying a whole week you start from the oldest date of the week, load 5 days from there. Then you keep playing forward through the week so you end up with 10 days on your chart by the end of the week replay.

Thanks for the clarification, there was an issue with Zen_fire on the fdax for Friday and it gave me fits.

It was several things. I will try to list the ones I remember.

1. On my 1 second chart it would just say "loading data.....". I would delete and re-add the chart with the same result every time.
2. My strategies that tried to go more than one day back would not enable. If I didn't include the days back to include Friday I was fine.
3. Over the weekend I couldn't get market replay to go ready. I could connect but nothing ever happened.

1. Do you recall what the message in the Control Center status bar was?
2. What would happen when you set it to Enable instead? Anything in Control Center logs?
3. Did you set the start/end dates to be within your Market Replay's available data? Were you scrolled to a time where data would be playing for the particular session template in use by your chart/strategy?
