    Hello aljafp,

Did you try the symbol maping suggestion at the forum thread at the link below at post #10?

If so and you do not receive data, please send us an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please include your Patsystems connection information as listed at the following link.

Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

Yes, i tried whatever was mentioned in post #10. In anycase that is just the usual way to go about mapping instruments in instrument manager with Patsystems.

I got a reply from NinjaTrader Support Bertrand Wibbing that says that OSE osaka stock exchange and IPE is currently not supported.

I am very surprise that NinjaTrader does not support a Major Asian Exchange.

Overall i am disappointed that support for Asian Exchanges is very poor in NinjaTrader.
      1. Simsci Futures traded on SGX cannot be traded since NinjaTrader does not support SGD Currency.
      2. NK225 Futures on OSE cannot be traded since Osaka Stock Exchange is not supported.

I wonder, does NinjaTrader support Tokyo Stock Exchange Too ?
We need to trade JGB and Topix Futures on these exchanges too.

            Hello lazykw,

Unfortunately spreads are not supported by default in NinjaTrader.

You could create a custom strategy in NinjaTrader 6.5, which will plot the difference between two instruments. More information regarding automated strategies that use multiple instruments can be found at the link below.

              Hi,

I am trying to connect to my patsystems as well, but encountered the same problem as what lazykw did initially.

Is it that I must purchase for NinjaTrader before I can connect to Patsystems?

                Hello dylanloh,

A live license is not required to connect to Patsystems - you can connect to Patsystems using the free license key as well.

Can you please proceed as per the steps at post #7.
                • Shut down NinjaTrader
                • Contact your broker and inform them that you receive this errror message and that they have not set up your account with the correct NinjaTrader application ID
                • Once they have confirmed that the account is correctly configured confirm with them the correct logon/server credentials
                • If any of this information is different you will need to change/update your account connection in NinjaTrader via Tools > Account Connections
                • Restart NinjaTrader and connect

                  PAT Feeds for NT

                  Hi Ninjatrader Support

I read threads relating to PAT symbol feeds for NT. Can I assume that all PAT exchanges enabled under PAT "Button" would be active for price feeds and trade routing in Ninjatrader. I am with Philip Futures Malaysia and specfically looking to link PAT feeds for Bursa Malaysia Derivatives contract.

Please show an example of how to map a PAT symbol in the Misc tab
                  Is this correct

                  Example:
                  Exchange - BMD
                  PAT symbol - KLCI

                  ??? Mapping Format is KLCI|BMD

Like to know whether there is a list of futures exchanges supported and not supported by Ninjatrader data server...eric yong

                    Hello Eric,

Yes, the instruments listed under the Pats-button in the Instrument Manager are enabled as per your Patsystems connection.

Unfortunately there is no Bmd exchange available in NinjaTrader. Try enabling the Default exchange and use KLCI|BMD as symbol map for Patsystems.

You can see all exchanges in the Definition-tab of an Instrument Editor window.

                      PAT Feeds for NT

Hi Jason...Thanks for the reply...attached is the Philip Futures JTrader sign-up form...in there are all the exchanges supported under their JTrader platform...any exchanges in there not supported by NT in particular...ref the BMD exchanges should be "BURSA" instead...eric yong

We do not have the following exchanges listed in NinjaTrader.

                        BURSA
                        TOCOM
                        SMX
                        DGCX
                        HKMEX
                        EURONEXT

                          Hi Jason
Please share the exchange listing that is available in Ninjatrader. Please PM me if this is somewhat ?confidential

Reason is that Philip Futures cannot create PAT API demo loginID for feed testing purpose for compliance reason. So there is no way for me to find the exchange listed under the PAT button for symbol listing.

PF requires me to submit a live licence key to begin the PAT API loginID application which means I need to purchase the same first. But the only complication here is I could find myself in a situation where I got a live NT but cannot use it at all for PAT feeds / trading because the exchange is not supported on later review. I am primarily looking to link NT for PAT feeds for the Bursa Malaysia Derivative exchange.

You can find the list in the Definition-tab of the Instrument Editor window. It will list all exchanges present in NinjaTrader.

If the exchange is not listed, you can use the Default exchange and use custom symbol mapping.

Hi Jason...Ok Thanks...I assume what you are confirming is as below in layman terms

All PAT exchanges / instruments enabled under PAT "Button" would be active for price feeds and trade routing in Ninjatrader.

If the exchange is not listed in the Definition-tab of the Instrument Editor window, I can use the Default exchange (i.e. Globex for Bursa Malaysia) and use custom symbol mapping to get price feeds and trade routing through Ninjatrader.

                              Notes:
Bursa Malaysia derivatives are listed on CME Globex http://www.cmegroup.com/international/files/Bursa-Malaysia-CME-Globex-FAQ.pdf
