NT Live on 2 computers?

Hi,

I want to run a strategy on two different computers connecting to two different accounts. Is this possible with NT7? I have one NT lifetime license but can't figure out how to do this. Do I need to setup another account and purchase another NT license?

If you want trade live on two seperate PCs at the same time then yes this would require a seperate license key for each PC.

Thanks for the reply. What if I want to run the strategies for two different accounts on 1 machine and have each strategy go against each of the accounts?

Yes this is possible. If both accounts are at the same brokerage and share the same username and password for the connection only a Single Broker license key is required.

If the accounts are at seperate brokerages you would be required to have a Multi Broker license key in order to connect to both brokers at the same time.

Unfotunately you will need to contact your broker to verify what needs to be done on their end to have the additional account added. Once connected within NinjaTrader you will then have both accounts available from the Accounts drop down menu within the order entry windows.

Is there a way to set a strategy to 1 specific account when I add the strategy to a chart?

Yes, when adding an Automated Strategy you will have the option to select a specific account within the parameters window as referenced in the attached screen shot.
