When I close down my charts for the day, I get an error message on the NT7 "Volume Profile" indicator. Ninja says that the Volume Profile "can't be serialized"....and when I open my chart later, this indicator is gone, and I have to reload it again.

Hello photog53,
Can you please tell me what exact steps you perform when you experience such an error message. When you state "When I close down my charts for the day", do you close the charts by clicking the X in the upper right corner. Or do you refer to exiting the entire NinjaTrader application or perhaps the disconnection of your data feed?
I cannot reproduce the error on my end so far. Are you able to reproduce the issue? If so, please provide me the steps that result in this error.

Sorry....that is stuff I should have told you in the beginning.
I only get the message when I shut down for the day.
1. ...I hit ControlCenter>File>WorkSpace>Save WorkSpace
2. ...Then ControlCenter>File>WorkSpace>Close WorkSpace. ....
(I get the error message at this point)
3. ControlCenter>File>Disconnect>Zenfire
then I exit NT

Hello photog53,
Could you please send me your workspace that you save, which contains the VolumeProfile indicator. You can find workspaces at (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->workspaces. You can post it on the forum or send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.
In addition, can you please compile your NinjaScript files and check if they compile without error.
1) Open NinjaTrader
2) From the Control Center -> Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator
3) Select any indicator and double click on it.
4) A new window will appear and you will need to right click and compile the indicator. All NinjaScript files will now be compiled, not just the indicator you opened.

I have "temporarily" removed the Vol Profile......(because of the error message and because Zenfire doesn't provide any history so the indicator loses all it's data anyway).
When I add it back....I will watch for the error and send you the data you requested.
Thanks................
