Strategy Parameter Setup

Can all available parameters be predefined within a strategy? For example “Instrument”, “Data Series Type”, “Session Begin Time”, and “Account”?

It’s a pain to make all these selections each night accross the strategies that I run overnight so would like to embed these param values within the strategy if possible.

Some of these properties may be available but unfortuantely accessing these programatically is not supported. Version 7 offers a way to save a strategy configuration as default. Once you have set your options, right click and select Save as Default.

So if i save as deault, does that mean it is the default value associated with a specific strategy OR is this now a default setting for all strategies?

Save as Default is associated with a specific strategy, so you can save different defaults as long as the strategy is named differently.

In NT 7.0, can you associate different strategies with different workspaces? So if the strategies that you run each day varies, you can just load the appropriate workspace and the strategies specific to that workspace would load automatically.

Workspaces will apply to open windows, including charts, but not a control center layout. You could create different workspaces with their own strategies applied to charts, but the control center layout will remain the same.
