TD - IQ feed

If i have my connection setup through TD ameritrade and also subscribe to IQ feed can i set it up to only use IQ feed data for the charts and still trade through TD?

Yes, this is possible. You will want to connect to IQfeed first and then TDAmeritrade.

If i have IQ feed set to "connect on startup" and TD set to "connect on startup" how does it know which data feed to startup first? Also, if i have both feeds connecting on startup should i set my Backup datafeed connection to <none> for both?

Connection order is alphabetical according to what's listed in Account Connections window.

For example, you could name:
A_IQfeed
B_TDAmeritrade

Yes, since they are both connecting, it won't be necessary to setup a backup.
