Instrument Manager

Hello,

i have a question regarding the instrument manager.
I trade stocks only and wonder if it is needed to add each stock to the instrument manager that i like to trade live.

I´ve read about the ability to import a list of stocks.
But i would only do this if it is needed to add every single stock to the instrument manager. (what are the advantage of adding the stocks to the instrument manager?).

I use IB as a broker.

Thank you for your post.

If you wish to view a stock within NinjaTrader it will need to be added to the Instrument Manager.

With the ability to import a list you can import a large number of stocks. Please see the following link.

Or you can add instruments directly from a chart. Just open a chart and start typing in the symbol and a new instrument is automatically created.
