Implementing custom adapter

I'm trying to write my own personal datafeed service where I will take tick data that I have accumulated or created and want to send it to NT, so that I can test my various strategies against it.

Is there a some documentation that explains what the adapter interface is? I realize this could be unsupported, but I'm a programmer so I won't need any handholding. However, the ability to connect to my own data service would be invaluable since it would allow me to either reproduce data so that I could practice against back data, or create my own data patterns to test my strategies against.

Hello Stevent,

We do not support custom adapters though it is possible to feed data into NT through the External Data Feed connection and then using one of the interfaces discussed in the Automated Trading section of the help guide.

Specifically, you are looking for BidPlayback, AskPlayback, LastPlayback.
