My nt is running extremly slow

Hi NT Forum,

My NT application is running slow. It takes 10-30 seconds to open indicator dialog box the same to makes changes and close it. Bar timer only seems to up date on every tick.

I am running 3 charts, 2 minuttes time frame 4 inditators.

Please do not just answer by sending a link to "How to improve performance of NT" or tell me to use NT 7 as this is not tested yet and you work againt using it for live trading, there must be a more direct solution to the problem with my NT application or am I stressing my NT application with above 3 charts ? - Apart from that the indicators are up dating continously I am fooling the "How to improve performance of NT"

I am a live trader but with NT running so slow I do not trust it to do live trading on short time frame.

In this case I would recommend that you send a note to support at ninjatrader dot com and reference this forum post with ATTN: Brett in the subject line and attach the following files so that I may take a look into your setup.

Also, in the email please let me know about how many windows you have open and also about how many indicators you have applied to your charts.

You can find these files at the following locations

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Trace--> trace.20100807 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)
Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> Log--> log.20100707 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)
