    Exchange List on Instrument Manager

    Hello,

Where can I find definitions for the Exchanges list that appears on the Definitions tab of Instrument Manager. It is obvious for some cases (e.g. Nyse) but there are lots of obscure ones, and it is not totally clear to me which box I need to tick if I would like to reference a new entry or import a list of stocks from say the London Stock Exchange, the Paris Bourse, the Madrid Stock Exchange or the Polish Stock Exchange to mention only a few.

    Thanks.

        Hi Stopped,

1.) " Sorry, and as for French stocks, is there something coming under Euronext? "

Not following - can you clarify?

        2.) Exchanges:
Please provide the full exchange name for each so that I may double check.

          Hello,

What is the Exchange Code for BM&F, the futures exchange in Brazil? I am trying to create an instrument for their Bovespa futures.

          Thanks,

            Hello Stopped,

This is not a supported exchange, but I will forward a request to add it on to my development team for further consideration.

              Hi Kyle,

I created the instrument using "Default" as a Exchange and filled in the rest of the form, including the instrument code from IQFeed (my data provider). The data is coming through. Do you envision any problems? Or is it a valid workaround for those (many) cases where a Exchange Code is not available in NT?

              Thanks,

              Stopped

                Hi Stopped,

In many cases, selecting Default as the exchange will do the trick. I would not expect any issues with order entry.

Speaking generally, if data is available, order placement should function as expected.
