Dud Data

Can someone explain what is happening with the data feed from Gain Capital, although this happens with IB as well.

I have a chart(s) for a number of currencies and look for inside bars. Last night around 10pm (GMT) I could see a number of IB’s on most of the yen crosses however when I restarted ninja trader this morning it looks like the data has changed and now some of those IB’s are not being displayed.

Obviously this is a problem because I use these for trading signals and if IB’s are being created from dud data then it’s misleading my system. How can I avoid this happening and ensure what data I am receiving is what you are sending?

Thank you for your post.

This is due to the way historical data is stored on your data providers server which will cause bars to look differently after reloading historical data.
